The Lapel Board of Zoning Appeals has delayed a decision on a proposed salvage yard and auto parts recycling facility south of town. According to the Herald Bulletin, the board voted recently to continue a request for a special use for 103 acres near the intersection of Indiana 13 and Indiana 38 until the board meets again at 6 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Station, 1020 N. Main St.
