The trial of a former New Castle officer accused of using excessive force is now set for August. 45 year old Aaron Strong faces four charges; three for deprivation of civil rights and one for witness tampering. The Star Press reports he stands accused of beating an arrestee with an expandable baton, after that man had surrendered, in 2019.
