Within the next few months, the vehicles used by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department will be equipped with bulletproof windshields. The Herald Bulletin reports Madison County Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve $122,100 to install the bulletproof windshields in all 40 departmental vehicles.
