A retired Muncie Police Department sergeant on Tuesday formally admitted to filing a false report in a bid to cover up a colleague’s physical abuse of an arrestee. According to the Star Press, 52 year old Joseph Krejsa pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice. Kresja’s guilty plea came a week after he signed a plea agreement negotiated with federal prosecutors.
