The U.S. Attorney’s office is awaiting the completion of a pre-sentence report before former Anderson Community School employee Carla Burke will be sentenced. According to the Herald Bulletin, Burke, 62, a former food service manager for ACS, agreed to plead guilty to federal charges of wire fraud and filing false tax forms in the theft of approximately $1 million last October.
