Muncie Man Won’t Pursue Insanity Defense In Murder Case

A Muncie man charged in the July slayings of two members of a local family has abandoned plans to pursue an insanity defense. The Star Press reports 27 year old Daniel Lamar Jones is charged with two counts of murder in the slayings of 69 year old Malcolm E. Perdue and 51 year old Kyndra K. Swift in a house in the 2900 block of South Liberty Street.
