Madison County employees will be experiencing an increase in health insurance rates starting in 2023. According to the Herald Bulletin, Madison County commissioners are requesting a 2023 budget of $13.3 million as compared to $10.8 million this year. Commissioner John Richwine said the majority of the requested increase is to cover health insurance costs.
