Contract Approved For Mental Health Programs For Delaware County Inmates

The Delaware County commissioners approved a contract Monday between the sheriff’s department and Mental Health America of Indiana. According to the Star Press, that money would allow the department to purchase equipment to help facilitate a re-entry program for jail inmates after incarceration. The $80,000 contract, funded through a state grant, would allow the sheriff to buy equipment to support the program, which is expected to begin this week.
