Muncie Man’s Lawyer Says Client May Not Be Competent To Stand Trial

The lawyer for a Muncie man charged with murder says his client may not be competent to stand trial. The Star Press reports 33 year old Jason De’Andre Harris is accused of fatally shooting Erik Sparks, a 28-year-old Muncie man, on Feb. 7. Harris’ attorney filed a motion asking that his client be examined by mental health professionals to determine whether he is competent to stand trial.
