Muncie is in the midst of a storm expected to drop 7 to 10 inches of snow on the area before the flakes stop falling Thursday night. Crews have been hampered by the rain in their ability to pre-treat roads. The National Weather Service says the compact nature of the snow is bringing down predicted snowfall from up to 14 inches in the storm.
