The National weather Service in Indianapolis has now issued a winter storm warning which is expected to land about a foot of snow on the Muncie area Wednesday night and Thursday. The Muncie paper reports winds of 20 to 25 miles per hour are expected as the estimated 30-hour long storm punches the area in what will be the first significant snowstorm of the season.
