A Muncie man’s attempted murder trial ended Monday night with a hung jury. The Muncie paper reports the mistrial was declared in the case of 22-year-old Vashaun Letrell Harnett, who was accused of shooting 21 year old Tyler Childers outside a home on the 2400 block of West Euclid Avenue in October 2019. Harnett claimed it was in self defense.
