The Nature Conservancy is hosting a Water Sampling Blitz in the Upper White River watershed this week, including an event in Muncie, 2-6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, based at Minnetrista, reports the Star Press. Community volunteers are being sought to collect water samples from streams that will contain valuable information about the watershed’s overall health.
