Delaware County Sheriff Tony Skinner wants to see his deputies get significant raises. According to the Star Press, he told County Council members this week he’s proposing a more than $4,000 boost to starting pay to bring it up to just over $46,000. With increases based on experience that would bring a 20-year deputy up to $61,146.
