Rain Wednesday didn’t stop the groundbreaking for the CANPACK aluminum beverage can plant. Once complete, the factory will cover 862,000 square feet and is expected to employ 340 people and pay them a wage, the company promises, that is at least 125% of the average wage paid in Muncie, reports the Star Press.
