Authorites say a woman died in a Monday morning house fire. It happened at 401 W. Delaware County Road 600-S and the call came in just after 7am. There had been reports of someone trapped and the Star Press reports 55 year old Kathleen Owens was pronounced dead at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. No cause has been determined.
