Ralph Smith is resigning from Muncie City Council. He was elected to Muncie City Council in 2019 and confirmed to The Star Press that is resignation takes effect August 1st. Smith wrote on Facebook that he and his wife have overcome some health challenges that made them reflect on the past and rethink future plans.
