A judge has rejected a hired hit man’s bid to get a new trial. 69 year old Jess Woods was convicted of murder and conspiracy to commit murder in the May 1993 slaying of Teresa French. Woods was sentenced to 100 years in prison by Judge Linda Ralu Wolf. The Star Press reports he was hired by French’s estranged husband, Anthony, to kill the 29-year-old mother of three children.
