Prosecutor: Muncie Police Shooting Of Kansas Man Justified

Delaware County Prosecutor Eric Hoffman has determined the fatal shooting by Muncie police of a Kansas man — who had fired gunshots at both officers and civilians — was justified. The Star Press reports 28 year old Jonathan Levi Allen was shot by a city officer on March 3, as he turned from Walnut Street onto Centennial Avenue while being pursued by police. He died from his injuries a week later.
