A Muncie man, who told police close to five years ago that he thought someone had beaten up his wife, has now been charged in her murder. 48 year old Kimberly Herbert died in June 2016, the result of multiple traumatic injuries. Early that morning, Kenneth Herbert brought his wife to the emergency room, unresponsive, in cardiac arrest and with blood oozing from her mouth. She died shortly thereafter.
