Saying it’s not the best use for the property, Anderson Mayor Thomas Broderick has vetoed an ordinance to rezone a property for a repossession lot. The Herald Bulletin reports Broderick vetoed the ordinance requested by Jonny Jones to rezone property on the northeast corner of East 34th and East Lynn streets, saying it could potentially create a junk yard at the site.
