Anderson To Spend $300K On Building Facelift

The City of Anderson will spend about $300,000 making repairs to the former Marsh store on Nichol Avenue. The Herald Bulletin reports bids will be accepted December 9th for the work, including a new roof and new facade for the building. The roof takes the bigger chunk of the money at $240,000 while the facade should cost somewhere between $50,000 and $80,000.
