The Muncie Mall is seeking a reduction in its assessment. Owners want to see the current figure of jsut over $20 million lowered. Last spring, the maill paid $335,000 to satisfy the first of two property-tax installments owed on the property this year, and a similar amount is expected to be paid in November.
