Alexandria Man Sentenced For Breaking Daughter’s Leg

Six years in prison for an Alexandria man charged with breaking his two month old daughter’s leg in 2017. 25 year old Ryan SMith was charged with neglect of a dependent causing serious bodily injury and battery causing serious bodily injury to a child under the age of 14. Ther Herald Bulletin reports a Level 3 felony charge of neglect of a dependent causing serious bodily injury was dismissed.
