Prosecutor Says Police Shooting Of Man Was Justified

Delaware County Prosecutor Eric Hoffman ruled Tuesday that the May 7 shooting of a Muncie man by a city police officer was justified. According to the Star Press, a Muncie officer shot 41 year old Davy Gibson in the shoulder as Gibson held an ax above his head. Hoffman came to his decision after reviewing an Indiana State Police investigation of the incident.
