Delaware County is putting a possible tax increase for the bridge fund on hold while officials check to see how it will impact the county’s finances and weigh the options. The Star Press reports the county’s engineering project administrator, asked the commissioners for an increase to the cumulative bridge fund to better fund repair and replacement efforts for the county’s nearly 190 bridges.
