Homes had to be evacuated on the northside of Muncie Thursday morning after a natural gas leak in the area. A line broke underground in the vicinity of Everett Road and Woodbridge Drive and crews were notified just before 9:30am. After about an hour and a half, residents of ten homes evacuated were able to return but they’ll be without natural gas service until repairs are made.
