Request Made To Boost Pay Of Two Madison County Employees by 20.8%

Madison County Council backburnered a request from county commissioners this week for a 20.8% pay increase for the human resources/risk manager and county administrator. The Herald Bulletin reports the pay hikes were requested for Beatrice Ramey, the human resources/risk manager since 2018 and Tim Westerfield, county administrator since 2019. Both positions currently pay just under $48,000 per year.
