A Muncie man police say repeatedly called 9-1-1 about his stolen garden hose New Year’s Day ended up being charged. 54 year old Lendol Earl Reed, of the 600 block of South Shipley Street, was arrested Wednesday night on preliminary charges of misuse of the 911 system, harassment and disorderly conduct. He also swore at officers who arrived at his home to investigate.
