Delaware County Sheriff’s Office reports there have been several reports of scammers calling people saying they have a warrant for failure to appear for jury service, and a request for payment to clear the warrant. They say it’s a scam and their office will never take payment over the phone to clear a warrant. Their advice is to hang up on the callers.
