Multiple people were seriously injured when an ambulance ran into the back of a semi-trailer in Blackford County Monday morning. Sheriff Jeff Sones says it happened near the intersection of CR 300 South and State Road 3 when an IU Health Ambulance tried to pass the semi that was turning. The ambulance driver suffered several broken ribs, a torn spleen and a severely-dislocated knee. He is currently in Intensive Care.
