Anderson Police Chief Breaks His Silence

Anderson Police Chief Tony Watters says he feels like a scapegoat after learning he will be removed as top cop there come Sunday. Watters’ son, a police officer, was arrested back in June for domestic battery. Watters himself came close to be arrested during that incident, according to prosecutors. The chief said that the allegations made by state police that he acted unprofessionally when his son was arrested are completely false.
