Muncie City Council’s finance committee has managed to chop $2.6 million from the proposed budget but say they’re only halfway to where they need to be, So far they’ve held two work sessions and would like reduce the spending plan by another $2.4 million. The hope is to present the budget proposal to the full city council on October 7th.
