18 Years Ago Today…The World Stopped Turning

Today marks 18 years since hijackers took over jetliners that crashed into the twin towers of the World Trade Center, and the Pentagon, and crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Nearly 3-thousand people were killed; more than 6-thousand injured.  A moment of silence will be observed in New York City at 8:46am ET, marking the time American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
