Veteran Muncie Firefighter Dies Of Sudden Illness

Officials say a sudden illness took the life of a veteran Muncie firefighter Wednesday night. 52 year old Larry Delk joined the department in 1995 and died at his home. According to the Star Press, Delk was a deputy chief during ex-Mayor Sharon McShurley’s administration and was most recently a MFD captain, assigned to the Wheeling Avenue station.
