Delaware County is not spraying for mosquitoes this year. Jammie Bane, the administrator with the Delaware County Health Department, told the Star Press that budget and manpower constraints hindered those efforts in recent years as well. The county is still working with complaints and offering treatments to kill off mosquito larvae before they can complete the process of becoming adults.
