A public defender representing a woman involved in a crash that killed her daughter on the Muncie Bypass in 2017, can’t stop representing her. Brandon Murphy had filed a motion to step away from the case involving 30 year old Jessica Skeens, who’s charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in death and reckless homicide. After considering the motion, the judge in the case denied it.
