Mother Sues Over Daughter’s Deadly OD Behind Bars

A woman whose daughter died of a meth overdose in the Blackford County jail is now suing the county and the sheriffs department. 24 year old Victoria Seats died from a massive dose of methamphetamine on July 18, 2017. The suit claims the sheriff department was well aware of Seats’ addiction to meth and that the county had a responsibility to keep it out of the lock up.
