Convicted Muncie Man Wants Early Release From Prison

He was convicted of fatally shooting a Muncie store manager during a robbery, nearly 37 years ago. Now, Theodore Burtley wants out of prison early. Burtley and a 16-year-old accomplice robbed a Muncie furniture store and killed the assistant manager in 1982. Burtley contends his two sentences – for the murder and robbery convictions – should have been served at the same time.
