The Anderson Redevelopment Commission has accepted an offer from a local company to purchase 4.5 acres of the former General Motors property. AMI Group will purchase the property near the intersection of 29th and Noble streets for $53,000. The group plans to build several buildings on the site to be used as workshops and for storage.
