A worker at a group home in Anderson has been arrested for allegedly attacking a resident. 32-year-old DeShawn Brooks is charged with battery causing injury to a mentally/physically handicapped person, a Level 6 felony. Officers interviewed other employees at the facility, REM Occazio LLC, who said Brooks was alone with victim when the injuries happened.
