Because it’s seeing fewer pediatric inpatients, as of July 1, Community Hospital Anderson will cut back on some of those services. The hospital plans to convert the unit into additional beds for the adult medical surgical unit.
There will still be pediatric surgical services, a pediatric nursing staff and pediatrician on call around the clock.
