Attempted Murder Conviction Upheld For Muncie Man

A bank robber’s attempted murder conviction has been upheld by the Indiana Court of Appeals. 26-year-old James Cole of Muncie was found guilty after firing gunshots at a Yorktown police officer in November of 2012. Cole’s case didn’t come to trial for more than five years because he fled to South America while free on bond. The Muncie man is currently incarcerated at the Pendleton Correctional Facility.
