The not-for-profit Anderson Township Trustee Youth Center program will close July 18. The program has provided educational and recreational opportunities for children, and trustee Mike Shively says he hopes to have a replacement program put in place before next school year. Negotiations between the not-for-profit board and Shively failed to reach a lease agreement for the Youth Center’s facility. The program was started by former township Trustee John Bostic, who lost his bid for re-election in 2018.
