Muncie’s former Red Carpet Inn is now on the city’s demolition list. The Star Press reports the owners of the property at 3400 S. Madison Street failed to show at a meeting of the Unsafe Building Hearing Authority on Thursday, and it’s the second time in a row that’s happened, The owners now face fines of $10,000, $5,000 for each missed meeting. They were supposed to produce a plan for dealing with the building.
