Over the next three years the Indiana Department of Transportation plans to spend $25.8 million on several projects around Madison County. Construction is scheduled to start at the Interstate 69 exit with Indiana 13, the Lapel and Fortville exit. The project’s estimated cost is $5 million with the federal government providing $4 million.
