The Yorktown Town Council has purchased two downtown properties as it looks to redevelop the area. The properties are at 2102 S. Market Street, which was bought for just under $80,000, and at 2104 S. Vine, purchased for just south of $70,000. The project as a whole being worked on including a mix of private development, a park and pedestrain bridge. The properties are right in the project area.
