Political Ad Could Put Anderson Woman Behind Bars

An Anderson woman has been charged with two felonies in connection with a political advertisement that allegedly included unauthorized signatures. The Madison County Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday filed the charges against 58-year-old Pam Stires in connection with a political ad that appeared in The Herald Bulletin in October that was a reprint of a 2012 ad in opposition to a local candidate. Stires faces up to 2 ½ years on the felony charges.
