Muncie’s former building commissioner has been sentenced to two years in federal prison after pleading guilty to wire fraud and money laundering. Craig Nichols learned his punishment during a hearing in federal court in Indianapolis Tuesday. He was sentenced to 2 years in federal prison along with 3 years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay restitution.
