Nichols Handed Two Years Behind Bars

Two years beind bars for the ex-Muncie Building Commissioner who pleaded guilty to wire fraud and money laundering. Craig Nichols had been placed on leave in February of 2017 following his arrest on allegations that he steered city projects to his own business and also submitted bills for work that was not done. The Star Press reports, in handing down the sentence, the judge in the case said Nichols had, “apparently lost his moral compass.”
